Copenhagen...

I had the pleasure to speak for Nordic Broadcasters in Copenhagen about "Web2.0" and WidSets... I was there already around 10am so I had _plenty_ of time to wander around in the very beautifull&charming Copenhagen. On the way to downtown from the airport I only just could admire the Danish modern architecture - as far as I am considered they are the best by far - all those sculpturelike new office buildings !
... well I arrived to downtown, sat myself down first for 1.5 hours to a very nice cafe called Europa, drank a liter of latte and finalised what I thought was a pretty nice presentation about what all "web2.0" means for different people. (I found later from Flickr (thanks to HeGe) that "Guy from Nokia partner Widsets talking about web 2.0 or something. " Web2.0 or something ? so obviously my presentation was not that cool nor clear after all ;o

I spend several hours wondering around the beautifull city taking pics...

I had to clime to our roof to get rid of the dirt around our roof windows (the reason for some water leakage)... world looks slightly different again from 12meters high up... rising autumn moon was a nice bonus

Less than 800€ to Melbourne ... Florida

For long time I've been dreaming to go and visit Pasi in Melbourne and Ken & Carl in Wellington... finally I got into action and found a really "amazingly cheap" tickets from Helsinki to Melbourne. I went and purchased them and was so happy for making the decision to go (and oh it was so cheap). I let proudly Pasi know that I'm really coming ... and LUCKILY he was reading his emails - he noted me that I've a actully managed to buy tickets to Melbourne, Florida. ---T !! I called Matkaporssi.com immeaditly and YES !!! they were kind enough to relieve me from my agony - they had just received my order and were able/willing to cancel it.

I would most likely have had noticed it only when stepping into 737 in Miami and wondering that "This thing cannot possibly fly all the way to Melbourne".
