Advertising with a vision... makes the difference

Saw this in Sunday paper ... beautifull example how good innovative advertising looks for unconventional approaches and thus totally rocks in people's minds.

"News for those who do not find company's Xmas party to be quite a real one without a massive taxi queues... now nothing is missing from Silja Line's Xmas parties. From November on we have real taxi stands on decks where you can go and visit if you wish so. You decide how long you stand there, we quarantee the toughest queueing conditions in Baltic Sea.
....
Feet above the ground."

In era of the overwhelming stimulants only those who really try to find new wierd mixtures & approaches can wake some end user reactions... and even if we know this it seems that it's easier to just go with something conventional - "let's not try to be funny for now".

I want to go for pikkujoulu cruising with Silja line for the first time ever !!

Windy Autumn Sunday...

+1C and 13m/s North wind is too cold for water sports.... +1C and 13m/s North wind is just about the right wheather for a stroll in Eiranranta and hot White chocolate & fresh munkki in Carousel.

Some more beer to remember....

What the heck ?

"Yoga flying will be teached in 4 phases" .... "6000€ + 22% taxes with 12month downpayments" ... "Financial Capital of Finland Oy"

Excellent Trappist beer...

La Trappe Blond ... very nice indeed. Might be the best from them all ? or then not. Nice anyway.

Miserable failure... or just brothers ?

I've been using quite some time to try to explain Otto and Vili how "you should build positive brother-2-brother relationship instead of constantly nagging each others since there will be enough naggers in the world"... I found a drawing today from Vili's desk describing ~10 ways to kill Otto. I asked Vili what was it all about and the answer was just simply "Otto is irritating" ?

Another grand failure or just a normal phase between brothers ? Hopefully the latter...

Tampere....

Two days/16hours of intensive sitting in the Karate's World Championships... otherwise pretty well organised but unfortunately the organisers had more like "Karate-Kid-the-movie"-games in their minds than World Championships. All the cliche rock songs with the help of an announcer with all the "Are you ready ? I said ARE YOU READY ? Look at those tiger eyes of our lady competitors ..."-cliches and 20 seconds National hymns instead of the normal a bit more uplifting stuff one would expect from world championships. Well maybe it's just me...

Tampere is great ... I like it more every time I visit it. The view from the room in the 15th floor in the Hotel Ilves was nice. Specifically love the fact that there is still a working factory with all that steam bursting into the air. The lakes everywhere...

Say No - it is great

"No thanks. Not interested." - what a wonderful & respectful response! Good straight forward fast "No" keeps thin...
