Both and....

Maybe the key is to do just one thing truly uniquely well at a given time - and do it by thinking that God is within details.... so the solving the big issue by solving the small issues into extreme ? or by identifying the big issue and solving it by mastering even the smallest details into the extreme ? Solve something which nobody has yet been able to solve thoroughly without making compromises ?

Apple team and Steve Jobs managed to bring together 5 biggest music publishers (dead afraid of downloadable music), artists (pissed off with Napster, Kazaa ripping them off of their money) and consumers (puzzled about what's digital music, what's legal and pissed off with the difficulcy of all so far existing music download solutions). This all combined to a device with styling and details not seen so far. Celebricities like U2, famous rappers,... to break the news.

No photos/videos - just music first (like one would have typically done since it would have been possible).

One "simple" issue solved but with total approach and lots of attention into "design" in it's all aspects. We engineers do that way too rarely and just simply drown ourselves with functions not carefully and thoroughly enough mastered causing us to just simply fail.

Say No - it is great

"No thanks. Not interested." - what a wonderful & respectful response! Good straight forward fast "No" keeps thin...
