We had Blues Mäysti revival #2 in Oulu. It was the long planned 40 year birthday party for most of us and for most of us it was more or less +/-1...2 years late. Pekka and Aija were the heros who finally did it all - got us all going, booked the place, send invitations, organised the food... well, all of it to be short. Had lots of fun playing and most of all meeting old friends.
Vesku's adorable son was beeing a roudie before the gig - he kept repeating "Millon se toovi töähtää... kohta se toovi töähtää" (rouhgly "When does to horn toot... soon the horn toots" in English). I thought I'll make him a favour and took my sax out, told him that "No minäpä täräytän torvea sinulle..." ("I'll toot the horn for you..") which caused an immeadite panic in him - can't really blame him since it was me who was going to toot ;o)Valtteri got also professional lession to sound controls and mixing during the gig which he greatly enjoyed and will remember I sure.
